Roe v. Wade Observances Sadly, we have to commemorate another year of the legalized killing of the next generation through abortion. In Madison, we will be remembering the 39th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade on Sunday, January 22, 2012 with observances on Monday, January 23, 2012.
Monday (01/23/12): Mass at 8:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Monona (5101 Schofield Street Monona, WI 53716). Fr. Bart Timmerman will be offering this special Mass. Feel free to bring a baby item to donate to the Women’s Care Center of Madison.
Monday (01/23/12): Vigil at 5:30 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood (3706 Orin Road Madison, WI 53704). Fr. John Sasse, pastor of St. Patrick’s in Cottage Grove, will lead this prayer vigil. Cross the street to the Women’s Care Center to get a sneak peek of the new crisis pregnancy center!
