“In God’s name! Let us go on bravely!” Joan of Arc, to one of the Captains: “You have been with your counsel and I have been with mine. Believe me that the counsel of my Lord will be accomplished and will stand, and this counsel of yours will perish.”
In the above quote, St. Joan of Arc was speaking to a comrade in arms as they headed into another battlefor France. Unlike St. Joan of Arc the battle we are in is not a physical one – it is a spiritual one. Like St. Joan of Arc, we must “go on bravely” proclaiming the Gospel of Life.
