A story from one of our sidewalk counselors:
Praise God! I just had a turn away at the Planned Parenthood in Madison. I called out to the couple as they were walking into the Planned Parenthood. The guy couldn’t hear me so he walked closer. I told him there was all sorts of help across the street. He asked if they do tests. I asked pregnancy tests? He said yes. I said yes they do. He asked how much? I said it’s free. I told him if she is pregnant they have all sorts of resources. He took a Women’s Care Center flyer and told the woman with him to come with him and they are in the Women’s Care Center right now. I wasn’t even on the sidewalk 5 seconds! Please keep them in prayer. When they left the Women’s Care Center the woman had a white piece of paper in her hand. Their car was parked in the Planned Parenthood parking lot. I asked them how it went and the guy said good. They got in their car & left. He said the Women’s Care Center staff was very nice.
All this from someone who had no desire to be out on the sidewalk on Friday afternoon. Just think —> if she hadn’t been there; this couple would have probably not gone over the the Women’s Care Center.

Vigil for Life will be taking part in 40 DAYS FOR LIFE again this fall. It will begin on Wednesday, September 28 and end on Sunday, November 6. Please start praying about what commitment you will make for it this year!

O God, our Creator, all life is in your hands from conception until death. Help us to cherish our children and to reverence the awesome privilege of our share in creation. May all people live and die in dignity and love. Bless all those who defend the rights of the unborn, the handicapped and the aged. Enlighten and be merciful toward those who fail to love, and give them peace. Let freedom be tempered by responsibility, integrity and morality. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
