* Their number of abortions performed is up.
* Government funding for PP is up.
* Legitimate health care services provided by PP are DOWN.
 
We all know that Planned Parenthood is all about abortion (at any stage of pregnancy).  They are also worried that the days of the tragic decision of Roe v. Wade are numbered.  That’s why they’re working so hard to get states to pass those crazy late-term abortion laws.

Are you ready to fight for the right to life of the pre-born/unborn?  If you have not made it to the front lines lately – now is the time to renew your dedication to the cause of LIFE!  With New York passing its new grisly “Reproductive Health Act” in recent weeks and Virginia and Rhode Island trying to do the same, are you not motivated to rise up and speak for those who have no voice?

 
Although our “fighting” is done primarily through prayer and peaceful witness – it is still a battle – mainly a spiritual one.  God is with us!

As is the norm, we will not be hosting a spring 40 Days for Life campaign this year.  We will, however, increase our presence on the sidewalk to 9-6, M-F to be in solidarity with the spring 40 Days for Life campaign.  So – our increased hours will begin on Wednesday, March 6th.

There’s still room on the Madison/Beloit MFL Chicago bus hosted by Pro-Life Wisconsin. 
 
The March for Life is a day trip to Chicago on a chartered coach bus to Federal Plaza where you will join thousands of pro-lifers walking in defense of the preborn.  Pro-LifeWisconsin provides dozens of pickup sites throughout the state and anticipates more sites being added to provide more Wisconsinites the opportunity of joining in on this March! Registration is open now and will be open until capacity.
The March itself is from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m on Sunday, January 13, 2019. They are anticipating a crowd of 10,000 at Federal Plaza in Chicago. PLW signs will be provided but feel free to create or bring your own if you’d like.

As many of you may have heard, the abortion rate in Wisconsin rose from 2016-2017 (2017 statistics were just recently released by the WI Department of Health Services).  In Dane County (most of these at Planned Parenthood on Orin Rd. in Madison), this equates to about 83 more abortions in 2016 than in 2017.  Let’s fill all of our hours this year!

It’s Christmas Eve!  We celebrate our dear Savior’s birth for the next 12 days!  In the midst of our celebrations and JOY over our Savior’s birth – God becoming flesh to dwell with us and to save us from our sins – we need to be mindful of those who will chose to end their babies’ lives through abortion at Planned Parenthood in Madison.  They are closed today (Christmas Eve) and tomorrow (Christmas Day) – praise the Good Lord!  However, they open back up at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 12/26 morning.

A Christmas Day Prayer by: Priests for Life

Praise to You, Lord God!

You have become one of us — You have become a human being, while still retaining all your power and holiness as God!

You, O Lord, made the journey of the unborn child. By being an embryo, a fetus, and a newborn, you joined all unborn and newborn children to you!

From the beginning of history, O Lord, You were the Creator of every human life. Now, with Christmas, You join Yourself in an unthinkable way with the life You created.

Let this Christmas, O God, fill all of us with awe and wonder at how close human life is to You. Cleanse the world of all that tarnishes and rejects this gift. Purify our hearts of all that fears this gift.

Let our Christmas joy be the joy of welcoming every human life!  We ask this through Christ, our Lord! Amen!
