Lord Jesus, in your Holy Name, we ask for the conversion of hearts among the abortion supporters, workers, doctors and staff at the Planned Parenthood abortion center in Madison.  We pray for the closure of that facility and for your blessing upon the efforts of Vigil for Life members who pray for and counsel women and men contemplating abortion.  May those considering abortion choose life for their children.  We ask that all be accomplished according to your holy will and for your greater glory.  Amen.

Prayer For Holy Living in This Fallen World 

Loving Lord how I thank You that in Christ I have Your Holy Spirit living in me to live and work to Your praise and glory. Help me Lord to keep looking to Jesus – and to keep my mind on the things above, not on the things that are of this world system.

Help me I pray to look away from the things of the world and to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, and to be numbered with those who call on the Lord with a pure and humble heart.

Help me to live my life in a manner that is pleasing to my God – in gentleness towards others and in reverence towards You.

Prevent me I pray from being squeezed into the world’s mould but rather may I be conformed more and more, into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and help me to keep my eyes fixed on Him, Who is the Author and Finisher of my faith and in Whose name I pray,

The last command of Christ was to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19) This can seem daunting until you remember what Jesus followed this command with, “And, behold, I am with you always until the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

 
Witnessing on the sidewalk for the Gospel of Life is a great start to realizing the last command of Christ.  And – remember Jesus will be there with you!

This is the day all four Biking For Babies teams start their journey to all meet in St. Louis at the end of the week!
 
As you know, today (7/9) we will host them at Women’s Care Center after an intense ride from Green Bay!  They ride to build a culture of LIFE!

And the BEST part of the evening is …… I just got word we have the blessing of having the Holy Eucharistic Feast offered up when the bikers ‘arrive’!  (arrival time is yet to be determined) Father Grant Thies will be the celebrant. You might know, he was recently ordained for the Diocese of Madison!!! In humble gratitude we thank him for his YES!

Prayer to God the Father of all Life

Eternal God, You have revealed Yourself as the Father of all Life. We praise You for the Fatherly care which You extend to all creation, and especially to us, made in Your image and likeness.

Father, extend Your hand of protection to those threatened by abortion, and save them from its destructive power. Give Your strength to all fathers, that they may never give in to the fears that may tempt them to facilitate abortions.

Bless our families and bless our land, that we may have the joy of welcoming and nurturing the life of which You are the source and the Eternal Father.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord!

Your prayers and peaceful presence at your local abortion facility are more important now than ever before.

As the abortion industry melts down over Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement, abortion industry executives continue to neglect the reality that hearts and minds are changing at the grassroots level. We are now seeing that impact in Washington, D.C.

Kennedy had long been seen as a swing vote on abortion-related cases. The day before announcing his retirement, he provided the deciding vote, striking down a California law that required pro-life pregnancy centers to promote abortion. However, Kennedy sided with the abortion industry on other landmark cases.

President Trump will now have the opportunity to appoint Kennedy’s replacement. Pray that the president succeeds in delivering a pro-life justice who will establish a solid pro-life majority on the Court for generations to come.

The battle we are in as we stand for LIFE on the sidewalk is a spiritual one so we must walk by faith.  It is our faith that keeps us coming to the sidewalk.  It is our faith that teaches us that ALL HUMAN LIFE is SACRED and has VALUE BEYOND MEASURE – from conception to natural death.  It is our faith that demands we put our love into action.

Life is Precious
How precious life is, the greatest gift to be given, just for us from our Creator in Heaven.
Oh, what joy and love could be in our hearts, if only we trust in our Father above.
How thankful I am in spite of the trials, for how could I know joy without knowing sorrow.
I’ll live for today, for that’s now what I have, I’ll give thanks for my yesterdays, give him my tomorrow.
Each life has a mission, a journey you see, for if he created you then you are meant to be.
From the moment of conception till the time you go home, many lives you will touch though many unknown.
Scientists, doctor, lawyer, police, homemaker, father, teacher or Priest, no matter how old, no matter how young, we all have a job waiting to be done.
There is no life more special than another, we all belong to our Universal Father.
Yes, life is precious with its ups and downs and then one day he will call us home. I can only hope that when my day comes, I will hear Him say, that’s a job well done.
Thank you God for the gift of my life!

Griswold v. Connecticut Prayer Vigil – Friday, June 8th – 7 p.m.  This decision legalized artificial hormonal birth control which brought about the “sexual revolution” and paved the way for the dreadful Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion at any stage of pregnancy in the U.S.
 
Matt Sande of Pro-Life Wisconsin will lead the Griswold v. Connecticut prayer vigil at Madison Planned Parenthood.   Ice Cream social hosted by PLW at Culvers by East Towne Mall following the event.

This past week, the Trump administration announced the “Protect Life” rule that will take away $60-$80 million of taxpayer funding from Planned Parenthood.  Praise God!
