Come, O Blessed Spirit of Knowledge, and grant that I may perceive the will of the Father; show me the nothingness of earthly things, that I may realize their vanity and use them only for Thy glory and my own salvation, looking ever beyond them to Thee, and They eternal rewards. Amen.

Babies being discarded like trash!

“Things have a price and are valuable, but persons have a dignity, they are worth more than things and they have no price. Because of this, attention to human life in its totality has become in recent times a real and proper priority of the Magisterium of the Church, particularly for life which is largely defenseless, namely, that of the disabled, the sick, the unborn, children, the elderly. … They cannot be discarded!” – Pope Francis

We must continue to be a voice for the voiceless and see that these precious babies are not discarded like trash!

Prayer for Respect of Life

Heavenly Father, the beauty and dignity of human life was the crowning of your creation. You further ennobled that life when your Son became one with us in his incarnation. Help us to realize the sacredness of human life and to respect it from the moment of conception until the last moment at death. Give us courage to speak with truth and love and with conviction in defense of life. Help us to extend the gentle hand of mercy and forgiveness to those who do not reverence your gift of life. To all, grant pardon for the times we have failed to be grateful for your precious gift of life or to respect it in others. We ask this in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

An AMAZING EXCEPTION on Thursday, September 29th

For the first time this September 29th, the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will visit a location that is not a church building or on church property. This amazing exception is being made so that the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima can be present on the sidewalk outside of Planned Parenthood on Orin Rd. in Madison as part of out 40 Days for Life kick-off. (Yes, 40 Days for Life actually begins on September 28th.)

This is how our kick-off event came to be as told by Fr. Richard Heilman:

On Friday morning, August 26, at 6:45 AM, I read an article about the miraculous closing of the Appleton, WI Planned Parenthood. I say “miraculous” because “exactly … to the day” … one year prior, Bishop Ricken offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the specific intention to close that Planned Parenthood, and then proceeded to the Planned Parenthood site, with many other prayer warriors, to offer special prayers for it’s closing. That’s right … one year, To. The. Day. … and, it happened on the memorial of the Queenship of Mary (August 22). WOW!!

Lila Rose also posted an article about the Appleton Planned Parenthood closing, and added a comment that said, “Now there are only two Planned Parenthoods open in Wisconsin.” Knowing that one of them was in my backyard (my city of Madison), and now “only” offers abortions, the warrior came out in me. I brought it to prayer at my 7:30 AM Mass, asking what God wants us to do.

Like a thunder bolt, it came … “This is what you should do!!! … ”

I recalled that the very powerful (miraculous) International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is coming to my parish in Mt. Horeb, St. Michael the Archangel Parish “on the Feast of St. Michael” (September 29), and I knew we needed to have the statue of Our Lady out in front of Planned Parenthood for part of that day.

When I got home from Mass, I got into action …

*I contacted Dan Miller, Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin, and he liked the idea, and he said Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for life is going to come to Wisconsin to speak at Appleton about that amazing miracle closing. I said, “Wouldn’t it be great if he could come here on the Feast of St. Michael.”

*I decided to call Fr. Stephen Imbarrato (of Priests for Life) to see if he or Fr. Frank would come. Fr. Imbarrato said he would check with Fr. Frank, but count on him (Fr. Imbarrato) for sure. Fr. Imbarrato asked if there was a parish nearby, so we could do a Eucharistic Procession. I said, “no”, but there is a chapel across the street with the Holy Eucharist and a monstrance … he couldn’t believe it … he said, “Perfect!”

*I called the person who travels the Fatima Pilgrim Statue to see if it would be possible to have Our Lady in front of Planned Parenthood. He started to say, “Churches only,” but then I shared this whole story. He agreed this was “of God,” and is allowing this exception.

* I contacted Laura Karlen of Vigil for Life, and she loved the idea, and said the date was perfect because it was at the very beginning of 40 Days for Life, and this would be a great way to launch it.

*We also knew we should do what Bishop Ricken had done, and offer a special Mass with the specific intention for the closing of Planned Parenthood.

*I contacted Bishop Morlino’s office and he was very enthused about the September 29 plan and he was very sorry he will be out of town and cannot join us.

That’s what happened between 7:00 and 10:00 AM on that Friday morning.

So, this is the schedule …

September 29 (Feast of St. Michael the Archangel) – “Prayer Day to Close Planned Parenthood”

3:00 PM (Hour of Mercy) – Fatima Statue brought out in front of Planned Parenthood, Priests for Life leads Eucharistic Procession, Rosary Prayed, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Talks by Priests for Life and Dan Miller (Head of Pro-Life Wisconsin), and others. We will also have many Knights of Columbus there in full force.

After this, the Fatima Statue is brought to the top of Mount Horeb, WI – St. Michael the Archangel Parish (on the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel).

5:00 – 6:30 PM – Fatima Statue present in church, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Adoration, Sacrament of Confession, and conclude with Benediction.

6:30 PM – Talk by Patrick Sabat (Miracles of the Fatima Statue)

7:00 PM – (Candlelight) Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered by Priests for Life, with the special intention to close Planned Parenthood. The Knights of Divine Mercy Schola Cantorum will provide chanting and singing.

PLEASE JOIN US!!

AND, THANK YOU, BISHOP RICKEN FOR YOUR INSPIRATIONAL WARRIOR SPIRIT!!

Saint Teresa of Calcutta’s Nazareth Prayer for the Family

Heavenly Father,
you have given us the model of life
in the Holy Family of Nazareth.
Help us, O Loving Father,
to make our family another Nazareth
where love, peace and joy reign.
May it be deeply contemplative,
intensely eucharistic,
revived with joy.

Help us to stay together in joy
and sorrow in family prayer.
Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our families,
especially in their distressing disguise.
May the eucharistic heart of Jesus
make our hearts humble like his
and help us to carry out our family duties
in a holy way.
May we love one another
as God loves each one of us,
more and more each day,
and forgive each other’s faults
as you forgive our sins.
Help us, O Loving Father,
to take whatever you give
and give whatever you take with a big smile.

Immaculate Heart of Mary,
cause of our joy, pray for us.

St. Joseph, pray for us.

Holy Guardian Angels,
be always with us,
guide and protect us.

Amen

What will you do about it?

JUST A REMINDER THAT THIS Saturday, September 10 (that’s tomorrow), 2016, pro-abortion supporters will make abortion a laughing matter with a star-studded event (All Access Event) featuring pro-abortion comedians and entertainers in Cleveland that NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin will live stream at Steenbock’s on Orchard restaurant downtown. Yes, abortion supporters will be celebrating the destruction of unborn babies with an evening of “music, comedy and entertainment” with “good eats, drinks, and awesome company!”

Friends, how will we respond to the most distasteful event imaginable… right here in our backyard? Will we bat an eye?

Please take an hour or more to stand up for the voiceless, for the laughingstock of this event, our preborn brothers and sisters! In addition to personal and group prayer, we will have speakers at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., including Fr. Rick Heilman.

What: Prayerful protest of the All Access Event

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life and the Pro-Life Action League will co-sponsor the fourth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, calling on pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites of our aborted brothers and sisters.

Solemn prayer vigils will be conducted at these gravesites, of which there are 50 across the United States, as well as at dozens of other sites dedicated in memory of aborted children.

By participating in the National Day of Remembrance, visiting these solemn memorial places at other times of the year, and spreading the word about this prayer campaign, you are helping to humanize our aborted brothers and sisters and deepening your own commitment to ending the injustice of abortion.

Vigil for Life will host one of these memorial services at St. Michael’s Church in Dane, WI. The address is: 109 S. Military Rd., Dane, WI 53529 The service will begin at 10 a.m.

Prayer of Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Dear Jesus, help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Thine. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus. Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as you shine, so to shine as to be a light to others. Amen
